Your First Visit

The first time you visit us at Worden Dentistry, our team will take time to get to know you. Developing a strong relationship with our patients allows us provide exceptional care for your dental needs as well as your total body health. During your first visit, our team will discuss with you your health history, past dental experiences, and any anxieties you may have about dental care.

To serve you at the highest level, we'll get to know your expectations for treatment. If you have any urgent concerns, like pain or a broken tooth, will address it immediately!

We Don’t Rush Your Care

The first time you visit us at Worden Dentistry, please reserve approximately 90 minutes for your appointment. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff, offered a refreshment, and given some time to fill out any necessary paperwork. Your hygienist will then introduce themselves and begin your appointment. First, you’ll have a full set of x-rays taken to provide a comprehensive view of your entire mouth, including the roots of your teeth and your jawbones. Then, a periodontal exam will follow to evaluate your gum health and to screen for gum recession. If your gums have no swelling or deep pockets, we will continue with a preventive cleaning.

Dr. Worden will assess the condition of your smile and oral health to determine whether you need any type of restorative treatment. He’ll show you the findings of your exam and x-rays, and help you make informed decisions regarding additional treatment options.
